FINALLY finished Rylans Wave/Ripple Afghan!!!

I am so happy to finally have completed this blanket. It definitely took me way longer than I wanted or expected it to. The main reason was not having the time. I also got bored with it a little and worked on some smaller projects in between going back and forth to this one. That always happens to me with big projects. I tend to get bored. I do LOVE it though and I have believe it or not started working on a second one for Elijah. They will have matching blankets on their beds! LOL! I know I'm crazy! I'm a little more motivated this time though and actually am really trying to complete it by the end of June when Eli gets his toddler bed. We will see though!

I wanted to post a link to where I found this pattern, but it has actually been removed from the site already. I'm sorry.. :(. I do know the pattern but I don't want to post it here just in case I get in trouble for copyright reasons or I would.

I will definitely have to post pictures of the boys beds with thier matching blankets when I'm done. I do want to make a slight difference in Eli's just to tell them apart, but I haven't made up my mind about what yet. Hmmm...

Red Baby Beanie and Booties

Here is a cute little set I made recently. I was just trying to use up some of my scrap yarn and tried out a new pattern I was given from a friend for baby booties. I think they came out really cute. I can't believe how time consuming a pair of booties were though. Whew! I think I may have come across easier patterns in the past than this one. Made them both from the left over yarn I had from my 4th of July baby dress. Caron Simply Soft yarn in Autumn Red and White.

4th of July Baby Dress

4TH of July Dress

Here is one of my recent finished projects I have been working on. It's an adorable little dress and matching beanie hat! I made it with the 4th of July in mind. I just love it! I loved it so much I made 2 of the same ones! I'll add some pictures on here of what it looks like on my beautiful Reborn doll, Shailynn Rose. Really makes me wish I had a daughter some more LOL. It's made of Caron Simply Soft yarn. VERY soft!! I really like this pattern! (Original pattern by me) I look forward to making a few more!!

Elijah James is 11 months old!!

I can't believe my baby boy is almost 1 year old! The year flew by so fast!! We have been thinking about what we are going to do to celebrate his big day. We are thinking something small.. with a few friends and family at our house. We'll see!
I know I never updated on Rylan's birthday party. I'm sorry! Believe me I started a post many times, but they all sounded so horrible. Lets just say the day didn't go the way I would have like it to. Rylan had fun though and got lots of new gifts he LOVES, including his first power wheels from mommy and daddy. It was a blue trike! :) I do have some pictures but I don't want to use up all my time posting them just now.
I know it seems I never really have time to post. I hate it. One of the many joys of motherhood is never having time for yourself. It also makes it really hard for me to have time to complete projects. I have completed some and will be posting about a couple of them soon!
